What was the challenge when relocating heavy industrial equipment?
Transporting a Liebherr LH 80 Material Handler presented a unique engineering and transport challenge: the machine's track width was wider than the trailer's width.
How did the Trade-Mark team transport extra-wide machinery?
We utilized a 9-axle trailer essentially as a beam float to block the frame up on the trailer and secure the machine safely. This trailer from GINCOR Werx is equipped with the Hydraulic Nitrogen Booster and the 10-foot extension, making it truly special in our fleet.
With permits for a 16-foot wide, 132-foot long, 252,000-lb load, along with three escorts and an experienced team behind the move, we made this machinery relocation happen safely and efficiently for our customers.
